Up for salethis evening is an EstatefreshAntique B.&S. R.R. Dietz Steel Clad Railroad Lantern with Cast B.&S. globe. The lantern was found in the Buffalo area, I believe it is from the BUFFALO& SUSQUEHANNA line. The lantern measures about 17 1/4 inches tall with the handle up and about 10 inches tall with the handle down. The cage is marked DIETZSTEEL CLAD NEW YORK USA on the very top and B&S.R.R. on the rim. Strong and sturdy, no rusted through holes or repairs. Nice thick cast globe marked B.&S., measures 5 3/8 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches across the top hole and 3 1/4 inches across the bottom.
