ANTIQUE BATTENBURG TAPE LACE 1870's VICTORIAN VINTAGE ORIGINAL BUSTLE SKIRT DRESS

A beautiful, original, 1870's to 1880's wool with Battenburg & tape lace skirt, or dress bottom, that was either taken apart or never finished.  It does not have a waist band (only an unfinished top) and only has an unfinished opening in the lace on the back, above the pleated bustle area (a pleat on each side).  This skirt measures approximately 25" around the waist x 52 1/2" long at the bustle in the center of the back x 44" long in the front and the lace around the bottom is well over 100" around.  This lace and wool material for a skirt is in good condition. There are no holes in the wool and the lace has a loose thread, here and there.  The bottom edge of the lace on the bustle has more wear then the rest and will need some attention (lace unraveled along edge).  This is a gorgeous piece of wool and lace material from the 1870's to 1880's.  It will make a great skirt or dress bottom.  Being offered as is and with .
