This sale is for one RARE amazing Bird of Paradise taxidermy processed for hat decoration sometime around 1900. It is in terrific condition with brilliant colors and shiny feathers. No feather loss or damage that I can see.The glass eyes are present though there are no \"feet\" per se. There is a covered wire twist attached as a leg/foot to fasten it to a hat. I thought one wing attachment was loose, but I see it\'s made to have the body turn/curve a bit, as for a hat decoration. Or, if I am wrong and it is loose, then it would take one stitch to secure it. This has been in a box unopened for at least 70 years and was purchased by my great grandmother sometime around 1900.They entire length is over 2\'This is a rare find, especially in this condition!!!
