The underside is marked in red paint with a makers mark and the bronze mount is marked MADE IN FRANCE. Th porcelain box is painted with vignettes of floral brocades. The bronze mounts are gilt with gold. The box is in great condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs but the mounting on the base is coming lose and should be re secured with glue. The box measures 7 3/4\" in length, 5\" in width, and stands 4\" in height.
