Hello! Up for your offerding pleasures is this beautifulantique Silver PlatedCG ConnCornet -WONDER (SOLO?)-with a nicely scrolled/engraved Gold Washed Bell,2 Mouthpieces - one is marked \"Conn Levy Model\" andthe otheris marked \"Missenharter NY 4\"-, cornet Lyre(pictured).The hard case is in very good used condition however, the leather handle is missing. I am not a musician, so I will describe this to the best of my knowledge. All 3 of thevalves function as they are supposed to, but they move slowly,and the slides move easily. The serial number is 21100, which matches the serial number inscribed on all 3 valves(pictured) and dates this around 1888! I believe this to be a Wonder Solo based on photos I have found on line.The Mother-of-Pearl buttons are in very good condition on the#1 and #3valve buttons. The #2 Button is missing the mother-of-pearl inlay(pictured). I did not find any cracks or holes in the body.A lot of thesilver finish has worn off over time and there are a few light blemishes/dings and dents from use and moving around. The bell is dented all the way around(pictured). This may be ready to play, it may need a few adjustments, or it may need to be completely overhauled. I am selling this in As Is - As Found condition.
