I am not a jade specialist, but I will do my best to describe this item for sale to the best of my ability. I have more white jade pieces for sale in my store. I recently purchased a small collection of white jade at an estate sale.

This gorgeous figurine stands 3.1cm high, with a base of 2.1cm by 5.0cm. It is a hand carved piece of white jade from the Qing Dynasty in China. I believe it if from the early 1800\'s. It portrays a horse and monkey interacting. This is real jade, and not a type of cheep jadeite or replication. The piece has some dirt on it and hasn\'t been cleaned. This is exactly how I received the piece, I didn\'t want to risk damaging it by cleaning it. Besides the dirt, it appears that the horses right ear may be slightly chipped. It also might not be chipped. Reference pictures 3, 7, 8, and 9. I personally don\'t think it is chipped, but another person who looked at it said that it may be, so please look and judge for yourself. Regardless, this is a rare collectible piece of history that would go great in any collection.
