Offered in this sale is an early French creamware invalid feeder that was made by Creil. It is marked on the underside of the base with an impressed mark that reads CREIL which you can see illustrated in the 2nd image. It measures roughly 2\" tall x 7 3/8\" across from the handle to the spout. The diameter across the top of the bowl alone is 4 1/8\". The condition is very good. It has a not very noticeable small chip on the inside edge of the handle near where it attaches to the bowl (see 1st image), otherwise, there are no other chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence or restoration. A nice early piece of French creamware. Please be sure to enlarge and zoom each image for a close up view of the detail of the decoration and the condition.
