Daniel Pratt Jr. (1797-1871) Reading Massachusetts clockmaker made this beautiful clock which is about 175 years old, there have been some repairs done over the years but all movement parts look original, it has the rare Wagon Spring to power theBrass movement the wire to wind up the chains looks to have been replaced at some point, the case has the usual nicks and scratches in the veneerover the course of its life, the hand reverse painted two doorssigned by Moberg the artist are both in very good condition and are original to the clock, the clear glass for the Dial is missing and needs to be replaced.The clock measures 27\"h X 14 3/4\"w and 4 3/4\"d. Great looking Antique Mantel clock.
