We are listing today for your consideration a great Antique early 19th century Redware Small Pitcher with Lid, we believe Originates from New England. The pitcher is in Excellent Condition given it\'s age. There is 1 old smooth chip to the top outer rim and 4 to the outer base rim, some areas of glaze loss around the lid and some roughness & surface chips to the lid\'s top perimeter, there is some faint scratching to the glaze & small areas of loss, 1 small nick to the lid\'s handle. No other chips, cracks, and or repairs. You can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The pitcher measures 9\" tall at the lid handle, the top rim is 3 7/8\" x 3 3/4\", x 6\" wide x 4 1/4\" at the base and weighs with lid approximately 2lb 9oz. Wonderful hand tooled small form with great original lid with handle. Great glossy lead glaze with black pepper coloring throughout giving the piece a great red coloring with faint circular spots in the glaze coloring.
