Lovely antique character teddy bear of German origin, dating from 1910s-1920s
made of short pile pale gold mohair,

stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,

fully jointed,

slot-in ears,

boot-button eyes,

pronounced muzzle,

black vertically stitched nose,

inverted Y shape mouth stitching,

original well loved felt pads have been recovered with felt long time ago and show slight general wear,

three claws stitching to feet,

four claws stitching to paws,

inoperative growler.

Wears vintage cotton dress adorned with laces and embroidery.

Teddy Bear is approx. 23\" tall.

Condition - item is in antique condition with some general wear, thinning and balding patches; small hole to left shoulder; black stitching might be old replacement; joints are fine.
