We are pleased to offer this paper Mache candycontainer fresh from a recent estate sale.It is a hen on a stump looking over two chicks. We believe that it is German, but it is notmarked. It has a wooden base and youlift the little hen up to discover the space for candy. It is in overall very good condition withpaint loss to the hen’s eyes. There areno cracks or breaks on any of the chickens.This is a really great candy container that we judge to be from theearly 1900’s. Please enjoy the photosfor the best description.
