Edwardian silver plated café au lait set comprising a coffee pot and a large hot milk jug. Decorated with a beautiful floral bright-cut pattern. Great condition, needs very little cleaning inside.
ConditionGreat overall condition, needs little cleaning inside. Some wear to silvering; wear to the coffee pot\'s handle; the milk jug has damaged finial; the milk jug\'s lid doesn\'t shut tightly; some light scuffing commensurate with age.

All my silverplated items have been given a quick polish witheitherTableauorNushinewhich are advertised as plating solutions. Whilst they won’t silver plate your copper (contrary to what they may claim), I do recommend them for taking care of silver plated items in particular, as they won’t strip off the thin silver layer, unlike silver cleaning products.My full guide to cleaning silver and silver plate can befound here.
