Offered in this sale is a finely all over hand painted enamel round covered box that I believe dates to the 19th century. Every surface of the piece is painted inside and out, top and bottom. It measures roughly 2 3/4\" in diameter x 1 1/8\" deep. I am not sure if this is English or French but it is certainly early and well done. The condition is good. It does have some loss to the painted enameled porcelain on one side which you can see illustrated in the 7th image and some minor loss on the edge of the base, otherwise, its a wonderful early box. You might choose to have this restored or perhaps leave as is. Its one of the nicer enameled boxes I have had to sell on .
