This basket was made by \" Forbes Silver Co. \" in the later Victorian period (see photo of mark). It measures approximately 11\" tall x 10\" across the handles and the holder for the bowl measures about 4 5/16\" outside diameter (from handle, to handle) x 4 1/4\" outside diameter (from front to back). The inside diameter is about 4\" in diameter. This silver plate basket is in good condition with no apparent breaks or repairs. There is wear on the inside of the bowl holder and some wear to the silvering...mainly on the ribbed foot. Despite the flaws, this antique Bride\'s Basket displays beautifully!
