Extraordinary example of early 1900\'s French damask mattress ticking that arrived from central France. I am a huge fan of these old damasks and try to source them as often as I can find them. This one is a beautiful large scale baskets of roses pattern in a fabulous deep pink shade. So so beautiful and a rare color and pattern to find. It is a linen with possibly some cotton. Very strong and durable in addition to it\'s charming look. These old damaks are excellent for anything from pillows to windows, light upholstery, bags and totes/clutches and an abundance of early projects. You will love this, so utterly wonderful.Condition is good and strong; probably lightly used in it\'s former life with much life ahead. I have not laundered this but appears overall good with a more aged early patina/feel which is perfect on this. I saw a few faint tea type old age type stains in a few areas of this panel; light and not detracting and may wash, I have not tried. I also saw a small scuff that I feel will launder easily. May have a tiny fiber pull/break simply because it was a utilitarian piece back in it\'s day. Overall, a fabulous piece of it\'s time.Measures 25 inches wide by 20 inches tall ~ I have 6 to offer and can keep as many as 3 in one length uncut. each quantity selected increases the length, width of 25 inches remains the same.Many thanks!
