Beautiful variation of antique French linen ticking from about the 1930's. Lovely color combination done in a herringbone type weave. Wonderful to find as I've not had this variation in the past, quite unique to find. Red, soft tan/beige and what I would call more of a taupe type khaki. The wide stripes are magnificent. This piece is fabulous in a rustic French farmhouse setting and excellent for projects; pillows, light decorative upholstery and an abundance of period projects.**** Condition is very nice for it's age, a bit more primitive & rustic. This was a utilitarian piece and used in it's former life so again, will have a more rustic primitive appeal such as a small age spot, fiber pull etc..as expected with authentic pieces of this nature yet overall it is very very nice and in good order to work with.
