Up for consideration is abeautiful Antique German Ohme Silesia Porcelain Chocolate Pot. Painted with a lovely arrangement of purple flowers accented with heavy gold decoration. The porcelain is artist signed on the base, Pond.I did a little research on this piece, I found just2 of these type chocolate pots that have sold over the last10 years or so. What I found is that these type pieces were hand painted in studios in Chicago in the early 1900s similar to Pickard. I have not done any research on the artist but as you can tell this piece is very well executed. The other 2 similar studio pieces I found hadvery high selling records. I am happy to offer this beauty with at a crazy low opening offer. The chocolate pot measures approx.9.5\" tall x 7\" across from spout to handle.
