Antique German Porcelain ELFINWARE Box Gilt BRONZE Mounts Roses and Forget-me-nots
For your consideration is this beautiful antique german elfinware gilt bronze and porcelain trinket or pill box. Lid and body are both mounted with what I believe is gilt bronze and an abundance of sculpted porcelain hand-painted flowers decorating the lid. Unlike some similar, this box is decorated inside on both pieces as well. Good condition with some signs of age including minor chips to sculpted flowers on the lid which are difficult to notice without careful inspection. Also a small chip to inner rim of bottom half which cannot be seen when displayed (see photos.) Measures approximately 3.75\" inches in diameter. A very charming piece sure to delight all who see it.
