D flute made by Leopold Mitsching of Elberfeld (maker mark in last photo), sometime in the early 1900s.
Flute has 6 keys: long F natural, shortF natural, B flat, C natural, G sharp, E flat
Made of grenadilla (blackwood) with silver/nickel keys, rings, and tuning slide. Headjoint is lined with brass.
The flute is in good playing condition. Pads and corks have been replaced recently. There appears to be a repaired crack in the head joint(you can see the ends of the silver pin in the photos). There are no other cracks, repaired or otherwise. Flute willbe shipped in the pictured Vanguard camera case.
