This antique Hammond typewriter is not complete. Please look at all the pictures for more detail. It is fairly clean with very little rust. I can move the carriage with the lever but the keys seem stuck. Not knowing anything about the typewriter it was best I live it as is. On one side of the bottom the number looks like F245307 G 2. On the other side looks like HT WO. There is a missing CAP key and a missing ribbon keeper cap. That is two things I have noticed. There is glass on all the keys. The graphics are very nice with the logo that says For All Nations Hammond and Tongues Typewriter. Made in USA. Multiplex HAMMOND. Around the key keeper it says Folding. I am hoping someone can restore this beautiful antique typewriter. There is no case. If you have any questions please ask before you offer. Wait for a invoice after the sale ends. In the original listing I said there was no case. I found what appears to belong to this typewriter. There is a offer on this sale so I can not revise the photos. This is a black case cover. Only the top cover No bottom this piece has a latch. The original handle was broke off and someone added a cotton strap. There are dings and scratches. I did find another listing with this identical black top that fits over the typewriter. Please ask questions and I will try to answer. Sorry for the omission.
