This Japanese tanto measures approx. 11.75" in total length with an approx. 7.75" blade. The blade has a chip and also the point has been reworked/polished/sharpened improperly at some point. I do not know if this can be fixed. It has a brass spacer and blade is signed under handle as shown. Handle is split in two and has remnants of black tape use to secure the two halves. Sheath shows some separation with numerous chips in the original finish. Would be a fine dagger for a repair/restoration or knife making project.
