Hualapai or \"people of the tall trees\" named for the ponderosa pine clad tribal land on the southern rim of the Grand Canyon above the Colorado river. Much less common than many other Western Apache baskets this is well executed in willow and devil\'s claw. Interesting \"sun\" or \"blossom\" motif.
