A beautiful antique, circa 1910, original Edwardian Ladies Hat has a wired construction with a velvet covering and then adorned in many ostrich feathers & plumes. It is lined with black silk, see photo.  I\'m not sure if I have it on the mannequin head correctly, but it looks very good. This hat measures approximately 16\" long x 15\" across (not including the feathers (edge of brim, to edge of brim).  The opening for the head measures about 8\" x 7 1/4\" and the brim is about 3 3/4\" wide.  The velvet is in very good condition with no holes or tears and I see only one hole in the silk lining.  The feathers all look pretty good but some need to be tightened in place, some on top seem to have faded to a reddish hue on top (probably from the sun, see photo), and there is some shedding when the hat is moved around. Despite a few flaws on this 115 year old hat, it still displays beautifully!  A beautiful example of an authentic Edwardian Feather Hat to add to any collection!  Being offered at a low starting offer, as is, and with .
