Offered in this sale is a very nice early hand painted porcelain - pearlware - octagonal creamer pitcher jug that I believe is English dating circa early 1800s. It measures 4 3/8\" tall x 3 5/8\" across from the handle to the spout and is 2 7/8\" in diameter across the base. The handle is applied. The \"folky\" enamel decoration is clearly hand painted. The condition is very good. It has one small pinpoint flea bite or the inside edge of the upper rim and a few spots of staining but otherwise has no other chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
