Up for sale is this antique Quack Medical hand strength squeezing tester. Also known as a Hand Dynamometer, the heavy metal device has metal grips on each side, high tension springs and a measuring tension scale from 0 to 200 pounds on the front. The patient would squeeze the grips and the scale would show the strength of the squeeze. If you didn\'t squeeze hard enough, there was supposedly something wrong with you (not really...but that is why it is quack medicine). This wonderful and very rare piece is in very nice working condition. We believe it to be from the late 19th to the early twentieth century. No markings except for a number \"39\" on the inside top handle. A great and rare piece in nice shape offered with !!!
