Extraordinary length of antique turkey red floral paisley cotton. So rare to find in unused condition. Truly a remarkable & rare piece of time. Simply thrilled to have acquired this from England. Though England and France printed similar textiles in the 19thc, I believe this one is Scottish. There are several archived museum pieces which show similar Scottish variations. Commonly used in antique welsh whole cloth quilts. This is phenomenal cotton in a most glorious palette of red, blue, green and yellow. The hues are a bit deeper & richer in person. It is in superb unused condition..An excellent textile for the collector, quilter and will be utterly phenomenal in any project. Such an exquisite rare find. Circa 1900 or before.
