Antique Rare THE THUNDER WALL ALARM CLOCK Made in Germany for WE Watts & Gilbert Description :
DESCRIPTION For your consideration is this early wall alarm clock known as \"the thunder\". It was made in Wurttemberg, Germany for W. E. Watts Ltd from Nottingham, England and sold in the us by Gilbert Clock co. Clock comes in original box. Approximate dimensions are 13\" tall by 9\" wide by 3 5/8\" deep.
CONDITION Clock face is a bit worn out. Clock case is almost perfect except for a spot underneath the bezel where the nail that holds the bezel to case has caused a small crack to it. You can see in photo number 6. Other than that, case is beautiful with very nice original finish and no other damage than light scuffing. Clock has original label. I had it running for a few minutes and ran just fine during that time but I have not tested it for time keeping. I tested alarm system and it works. original box shows some wear, tanning, and tear, but it is sturdy. Item will be carefully packed to make sure it does not get damaged during transit.
