Up for sale is this 19th century redware plate. Plate measures 8 and 1/4 inches in diameter. Yellow slip decoration spells \"ELY\"? Glazing does have popping, and the edge does have some minor chips as seen in pictures. Nice coggled rim. Nice pumpkin color. Back has someloss probably lost during firing.
