a most rare antique ladies silk hat dating to the first part of the 19th century, the Regency period. It is in excellent condition with the original lily in the valley applied decoration and the original silk gauze ribbon.
It had probably been made to match a wonderful silk gown with the same spring expecting lily in the valley decoration.
Even if a bit dusty (it hardly shows in the pictures) it has no major damage to silk and ribbon and seems unworn! even the shape is just as if it came fresh out of the box. This is a rare museum piece, dont miss it!

I charge no packing or handling fees and I use recycled wrappings and boxes as far as possible. Indicated shipping price is an estimation. Please be aware that whatever I\'m listing, (mostly fabric, materials, costume pieces, lace and accessoires to repair) it can sometimes be in good condition but it is NEVER NEW from a shop shelf!!!! (so signs of a former life are often noticeable unless they are described clearly as VGC or AS NEW)
