Upfor your viewing and offerding pleasure is an Antique Round Faced Styled Guitar, Banjitaror Guitjo. This guitar has been in my family for as long as I can remember and coulduse a full restoration before it gets worse. I am guessing this is from the mid-1920sto 1950s but this is only a guess. I don’t know any info on it and I could notfind a label on it on inside. I am guessing that this item could be a Banjitaror Guitjo but this is only a guess. I did come research on goldtone web siteand this is what I am coming up with but not totally sure. I shined a light inside from the side andwhile looking in one of the side adjusting pin holes I can see what looks liketwo wires. I am guessing this guitar is or has been electrified at some pointin time or was made this way but this is only a guess. The front face soundboard is made of wood & the back is also made of wood but has thin cracksin it as does the front sound board. The frets look to be made of abalone asshown in the photos. The side is metal and looks like it might have had a nickelfinish at one time but this is a guess. The adjusting pins for as long as I canremember only had that many on it but looked like there were more at one time. Thisguitar measures about 33 inches long x about 12 inches wide. Just for all who are interested I removed the back and thereis a name plate on the inside that says; Mystic. There is also some wires thatlook like it was installed for reasons unknown. The measurement at thefingerboard nut to the 12th fret is 11 5/8 inches.
