Being offered is a Fabulous Antique Pair of Sevres Style 8 1/2\" FrenchCabinet PortraitPlates which depict French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte And Empress Josephine. The plates have a teal and white rim done in cartouches which feature multi-floral swags andgold wreaths embellished with intricate gold designs and trim, the center of the plate is adorned with a signed portrait. Both plates are clearly marked with a brownish red stamp of a crown over the letter \"N\".

Condition of Napoleon Plate : No chips, cracks or crazing with no utensil marks or scratches delivering a bright & glossy finish, appears to have a very goodprofessionalold restoration to one of the scalloped edges, the area is smooth to the touch front and back, no loss of gold except for thatscalloped edge (see pictures 5,6)

Condition of Josephine Plate : No chips, cracks or crazing with no utensil marks or scratches delivering a bright & glossy finish, no loss of gold except for a partial area of the rim which does show gold loss (see picture 10)
