Antique Siemens Brothers Portable Telegraph WWI Brass Key & Sounder Morse Code I would consider this telegraph to be in excellent used condition. There are no major scratches or deterioration on this item. Some insignificant minor wear is visible, but can be seen within the pictures. I am not an expert in this type of equipment, but I was told that this appears to be all original WWI memorabilia. It came from and avid collector through an estate sale of a deceased party. I would contend that this is a museum quality show piece, and the pictures speak for itself. I believe this is one of the portable field type models. It includes the original handmade wooden carrying box, which measures 10\" x 8-3/4\" x 6\". The wooden carrying case has a nice brass handle on the top. From what I\'ve been told, this type was intended to send and receive morse code messages. You will not see anything like it, so do not miss out on this item! Markings:
