Offered in this sale is an antique American art pottery vase - pot - that was made by Charles Walter Clewell in the earlier 1900s. It measures roughly 3 1/4\" tall x 9 1/4\" in diameter at its widest and weighs a little over 3 1/2 pounds. It is inscribed on the underside of the base Clewell 384-26. The condition is fair. There are two vertical splits or cracks on the outer surafce \"cladding\" that does not go into the pottery itself (see 4th & 7th images). If you look at the pot inside of the pot there is no evidence of the lines at all. As you can see the pot can be displayed so that the lines are not visible. A nice piece even with the flaws.
