This is a solid silver pepper mill hallmarked to Birmingham 1934 and with makers initials H & H.The grinding mechanism underneath is detailed DEPOSE Peugeot frères,export. The finial of the mill unscrews and the top pops off forrefilling. Each separate part is hallmarked. The pepper mill stands8.9cm in height and is in good original condition. A lovely piece in greatoriginal condition a good weight at 120g. Makers H&H into three circlesHukin & Heath Ltd, The firm wasestablished in Birminghamin 1855 by Jonathan Wilson Hukin and John Thomas Heath. In 1904 the businesswas converted under the style of Hukin & Heath Ltd. The company closed in1953.
