Offered is a very nice and original antique Southwest Zuni Pueblo Indian effigy pot with frogs and butterflies dating from the 1880\'s to 1890\'s. This is an early classic example of this form of Zuni pottery. The red and black paint designs are painted over a white slip. There are four molded frogs on the side of the pot with four butterflies in between. The pot measures by 11 inches wide by 7 inches tall. The pot is in very good condition with no cracks or damage.
