The History
The Piece
This pin includes a hedgehog design with ruby eyes and a sapphire nose! The Rubies are round cut and feature facets that reflect light off of their surface. The stones include their signature light red color with a great clarity and weigh in at .04 Ct\'s total!
The Sapphire in this pin is cabochon cut into a round shape and features a smooth polished surface. The Sapphire is a deep blue color with a great color saturation that complements the rest of the pin with a gorgeous contrast! The Sapphire is in great condition and weighs in at .03 Ct\'s total.
The design of this piece includes classic Art Deco Era craftsmanship throughout! The pin is handmade to look like a hedgehog with a detailed face, four legs, and quillsthroughout its body. The base of its body includes a filigree design that is made out of thick strands of yellow gold that cross each other at the bottom to serve as a stylish base for all of the hedgehogs quills!
The pin measures in at 0.75\" long by 1\" wide and is finished off with an enclosed style pin catch that works perfectly.
