We’re Rebranding!
Over the past few years, we have outgrown our name Aumia Gold and Silver Jewelry. We are so much more than those two things and we felt a change in name, to A Beautiful Time Antiquities, was best for our future as a company. Our shop will see some updates in design as we gradually make this change, the biggest of which will be the name of our shop changing to ABeautifulTime on October 1st. The only thing we ask of you is patience as we get through any hiccups that may come up and to make sure to follow our store so you don’t miss out on any of our great pieces. This re-brand will also allow us to expand our collection to bring you even more of the rare, beautiful, and timeless pieces you are accustomed to seeing. The History
The Piece
This pin includes Colombian Emeralds and Diamonds throughout! The Emeralds are all Emerald Cut and feature facets that reflect light off of their surface. The stones include a high grade vibrant Mozu green hue that gives off a unique look thanks to their foil backings. The Emeralds have little to no inclusions and weigh in at an impressive .86 Ct\'s total.
The diamonds in this piece are all European Cut and feature facets that reflect light off of their surface. The diamonds graduate slightly in size and include a great sparkle that is enhanced by the silver topped setting they are placed inside of! The diamonds weigh in at 1.40 Ct\'s total!
The pin includes classic Art Nouveau Era craftsmanship throughout! The design features a base of yellow gold with intricate jugendstil type swirl patterns throughout the piece and silver topped settings! The Silver Topping enhances the color of the Emeralds and the Sparkle of the diamonds, while giving off a great contrast with the yellow gold.
The brooch measures in at 1.5\" long by 1.5\" wide and is finished off with an open catch that works perfectly.
If you wish, your local jeweler could add an enclosed pin backing to the piece for added protection to your investment.
There is also an existing hook on the back of the pendant that can be used as a bale. If you choose to use it as a bale we recommendyou get it welded down completely at the bottom.

*Due to the age of some of these pieces, some items will not be stamped. The National Stamping Act was not enacted until 1906, before 1906 jewelry was not legally required to have a karat mark. This is one way to date items prior to the Art Nouveau time period.
