This is an antique skeleton cage hoop for a dress or skirt. It\'s in pretty good condition. From the top of the fabric strap where it goes around the waist to the bottom of the last hoop it measures about 30\". The largest hoop at the bottom measures about 19\" in diameter. There is a metal buckle on one end of the top strap and a straight pin on the other side. Some of the fabric straps have stains. There is also a long string with metal tipped ends ...like a big shoe string that measures about 96\". There\'s a short fabric scrap ...like a string that measures about 12\" long.Not sure of the exact age...Civil War or Victorian?
