Charming early American teddy bear, dating from 1910s,
made of blonde short pile mohair,
stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got original boot-button eyes,
slot-in ears,
pronounced muzzle,
original black horizontally stitched nose,
inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
his well loved felt pads have been recovered with felt,
still retains original five claws stitching to all limbs,
has got large inoperative cardboard growler in tummy,
pronounced hump,
final seam runs on the front.
Teddy Bear is approx. 14\" (35 cm) tall.
Condition - item is in good antique condition with some general wear and thinning, threadbare spots to forehead and muzzle; joints are a bit loose.
