I adore this lovely tapestry brocade that arrived from France this week. Beautiful beautiful pattern and palette. It has a charming neo classic/empire essence and is probably a revival piece from the mid century or before (could be as early as the 20\'s to 40\'s as well). The palette is warm done in deep sage type green, burnt rusty red, terra cotta, brown & mustard on a deep tan ground. Ot is a cotton or cotton blend of its day. It has a good strong classic appeal to it, again, very very charming & unique to find. Excellent for upholstery, windows and even pillow fronts, table pieces or laying across the front of a period bed; hung etc..Condition is good and strong~ probably used in its former life and has just a bit of a more aged patina though truly wonderful overall. May have small age spot or fiber pull simply due to time and handling during the years.Measures aprox 23 1/2 inches wide by 20-21 inches long/tall. I have 8 to offer and can keep as many as a quantity of 5 in one length. Each quantity increases the length, width of 23 1/2 in. remains the same.Please note, I currently also have a wider panel currently listed in another listing.Many thanks!
