Va./ NC Black duck circa 1930This is a hand chopped solid body decoy with original paint and a great stylized head carving. The decoy is in very good condition. There is a fine hairline crack at the base of the neck but the head is securely attached. The underside of the bill has never been painted. This blackduck displays a great profile from this unknown carver. Measurements are 18.5\" in length and 8.5\" in height and 6\" in width.
