Presented here for your offerding evaluation is this super fun 1938 vintage Ideal Flexy Baby Snooks doll! Shewasmodeled after the actress Fanny Brice who portrayed the well-loved comedic character. Ideal marketed the their Flexy dolls as \"The Doll of A Thousand Poses,\" and they might not be too far off. With her wire mesh limbs, the doll can indeed be made to assume a variety of poses.She can freely stand on her own large wooden feet without the aid ofa doll stand. Standing 12\" tall, the doll has a wood body with composition hands and head, both of which are prone to crazing. With her wide-eyed expression and big grin, Ideal has captured a very good likeness to the star. Inher hair there is a molded bow loop with which to tie a bow on. I believe her bow is original, as is her outfit. It\'s a one piece affair, with the pants attached to the skirted top. It closes in back with two snaps, and is super cute! There is some black cloth tape around one leg at the calf. I didn\'t know what is was for, so I didn\'t remove it. It really seems to serve no purpose as the leg is completely stable, undamaged,and not in need of any repair.
