This sale is for a fancy antique straight razor, considered to be made by one of the finest companies available since the late 1800\'s, etched on the blade: SPARTACUS - marked on the tang: THIERS ISSARD - 889 - 6/8 - MADE IN FRANCE - and with a silver inlayed gladiator on the handle, marked: SPARTACUS - This famous old razor has a white celluloid handle, lower jimps and a hollow ground blade. It is in very good condition with no rust, pitting, chips, or cracks, appearing lightly used. It will needa littlehoning to actually shave with, the blade measures 3\" by 3/4\" and it weighs 1.7 oz.
