Up for your consideration is this beautiful all original Madame Alexander Cissy doll from ( I believe) the late 1950\'s. She measures 20 inches in height and is dressed in what I think is her original darkish green tulle dress, embellished with little fabric roses and rhinestones. The dress has an underskirt and bodice lining of a finely woven ecru colored fabric. There is a label in the back seam of the underskirt that reads: \"Cissy\" Madame Alexander. She also has a half slip in a sort of taffeta with the hem lined in a gathered length of the same green tulle as the dress. The elastic of the waist of the half slip has been gathered with an elastic thread, I suppose because the elastic appears to be loose. She is wearing a pair of panties with lace trim at the leg openings. The elastic at the waist of the panties has also been gathered with elastic thread. She has on a pair of nylon stockings held up by elastic garters accented with a shiny embellishment. She also is wearing a pearl \"necklace\" that looks like it is strung on a wire and pearl earrings.
She has delicately painted eyebrows, lustrous eyelashes on her working green sleep eyes, a darling upturned nose and lightly painted pouty lips. Her hair may be in need of some styling, but is in pretty good shape considering her age. She is marked on the back of her head \"ALEXANDER\". There is a metal \"headband \" across the top of her hair which seems to be original.
Overall I believe that she is in very good condition, but could probably use a good gentle cleaning. Her stringing is intact and all of her fingers are in good shape, with no chew marks of anything else.

I have been asked about any cracks or splits on the doll. Ther are no cracks or splits on her. Her torso is fine (no cracking at the crotch seam) , as are her legs and neck socket. I am attempting to add 2 photos. Her panties are so tight on the legs that i wont remove them for fear of damaging her stockings and garters. I also don\'t want to remove the stockings or garters for fear of damaging them. I\'m sure that someone that know what they are doing can accomplish this. Thank you!
