Thisbeautifulantique artist reproduction of the German closed mouth Kestner lady doll is just wonderful. She measures a nice size of 20 inches tall. She is free of any chips, cracks, hairlines or damage. Her body is leather and in goodcondition, except there is some slightreinforcementto the toe area (as seen in photos) . She has bisque lower arms. She is not a mass produced numbered doll, but one done by the artist herself. The dollartist\'s name is Barbara Ota who is a well known doll artist in the doll community for recreating the most beautiful antique dolls. The artistry is just stunning and as close to the original antique as you will find. She will fool even the most experienced doll collectors. She iswearing a mohair wig with a lovely hairadornment. She has lovely blue paperweight eyes. She is wearing abeautiful dress. Her dress does need a good cleaning as it was dusty from being stored in an attic.
