The rider - conducting the horse by the reins - stands beside the jumping white Lipizzan;he seizes a cane which he needs for horse training .
The jumping horse depicts a figurine which is called \"Capriole\" :
The so-said Capriole (Italian „capriola“ which means high jumping) is an exercise of classical School of Riding where the horse has to jump very high: After having arrived at highest point of flight path the horse has to kick with hind legs in order to touch down again in safe manner.
