This is a very large metate with original perfect shape mano which was dug near Acoma Pueblo here in New Mexico about 5 years ago. I have had it sitting in my garden and felt like it needed to be treasured inside a museum or a home where one appreciates Native American Indian artifacts. The metate measures 17\" long x 13\" wide x 6.25\" tall when on a table measuring from the bottom to the top at the highest point. The mano measures 8.25\" long x 3\" wide. It is flat on one side and curved on another side. Both pieces weigh about 39 pounds.
