Awesome Blue Double Face Jug Folk Pottery
Price: US $536.02
BURLEYART IS BACK...again!This thing is unreal! This is a double face jug with a beautiful mottled blue glaze with light brown \"breaks\". It turned out perfect except for between the two jugs in the lower back is a very small crack, but it does not detract from the appearance at all. This will be a great addition to your collection! It stands about 9\" tall and at the widest about 10\" wide. Signed and numbered by Florida artist Joseph Burley.Just a quick note: I wanted to start \"garage sale-ing\" some stuff from around the house and whatnot, but I didn\'t want to clutter up this store, which I would like to keep just for my pottery. So...I started a new store - \"MyKalypsoStore\" - for all the miscellaneous stuff. Since the response starts at zero for the new store, I\'ve directed those interested in my listings to check me out here as well. Remember, if you have any problems at all with your purchase, let me know so we can resolve it quickly - I want to earn your 5 star rating! Thanks!! class=\"MsoNormal\">About Burleyart Studios

Burleyart Studiosbegan in the late 1990s when I was introduced to the art of clay workingby a good friend. It has evolved into aworking studio, creating functional ceramic ware, and more eclectic andartistic collector pieces.

All works are created by hand, one at a time. Each piece isencouraged to become what it wants to be, with little or no preconception ofthe final product. It is our philosophy that the clay knows what it wants tobe, before a single hand touches it. Sometimes what was meant to be a jugbecomes a vase, and what was meant to become a vase, becomes a bowl. Each pieceis therefore unique, and has its own personality.

Burleyart Studios is also committed to reducing our carbonfootprint, and existing as an environmentally responsible endeavor. We recycleour shipping and packaging materials, and never fire a partially loaded kiln.We strive to use reclaimed materials whenever possible, such as salvaged woodfor wood related projects and reclaiming our clay scraps and slips. Also, whileit pains me to allow less than perfect pieces for sale, I feel it would be atremendous waste of energy and resources to relegate pieces with minor flaws tothe scrap pile. We therefore occasionally offer these pieces for sale at areduced starting price while distinctly identifying the flaw. Fortunately, thisdoes not happen often, and the flaws are not normally obvious from normalviewing.

We always offer combined shipping discounts. For those purchasing more than one item, wait for me to send you an invoice before payment so that I can determine the smallest box your pieces can safely ship in to save you money.
