Barney & Berry Vintage Bamboo Fly Rod 9’ 3/2, Rare Light Trout 5wt. Line, Great Find, Original Condition.Handcrafted by the Edwards Rod Company.

Please inspect ALL photos furnished to judge the quality of this wonderful rod.

Rod comes with 3 sections plus an extra tip piece, note ALL 4 sections are correct and equal length, ALL cane sections are in wonderful condition, NO breaks, damage, delams, or repairs. Appears to be ALL original silk thread wraps. Comes with divided pocket cloth rod sock and aluminum rod tube with screw cap.

All ferrule have a distinct audible “POP” when broke down. Cork grip is in wonderful condition, slight soiling from age and a few minor scuffs. Rod is extremely straight when together, both tip sections. Silk wraps including intermediates are exceptional. Reel seat mechanism is in nice condition having the traditional stamp, “Barney & Berry Inc. - Made in USA”. Seat has a few dings and signs of use, however, solidly secures reel as it should. Snake guides are tight and very nicely varnished, which is original.

This was recently acquired as seen in photos from an Estate Sale from a avid Bamboo Collector.
