This sale is for a vintage 1957 Alexander Cissy Doll. She is the twin to the other Cissy I have listed but this one is missing her legs. Also her Alexander custom ordered gown has a variation on the attached flowers. According to the internet the gown was lavender and was only custom ordered-not shown in any of the Alexander catalogues. The 2 layer under slip has the Cissy tag. The gown has many tears/soil and so does the slip.I assume since bow in hair is still lavender the dress has faded. The head is beautiful gorgeous coloring and clear sleep eyes. The original redhair wigneeds a little fixing but is in the basic original setand has the original lavender ribbon. The doll would have been 20\" tall if legs were not missing. The torso and arms are great and the arms are original to her. According to the internet they did use the one piece arms sometimes in place of the jointed ones. She also has her opera gloves that are pink and have some stains. She is missing her earrings, ring, undies, nylons, and shoes. She is being sold as-is for parts/restoration.
